On a 27˚ day, Manly won the toss against Inner West Harbour and elected to bat. The oval had a slow outfield and the pitch was slightly damp from the rainy day before. Luke and Cruz went out to open the batting and the first three overs were scored for three runs. In the fifth over Luke was bowled out for 8 runs. Ekam and Cruz had a 27 partnership until Ekam was caught at cover. Wes was out quickly, but Blake came in and got a quick 15 runs off 22 balls.
Zac came in and Cruz got a great 41 run partnership with him. Cruz got a single to get his fifty but he was caught the next ball. Oli was disappointed to get out for his first ball and Zac got out for 22 runs in the next 6 balls. Our bottom order played well to get runs with Jesse getting 15 off 18 and Ethan getting 12 off 19. Our total was 159 all out.
Eddie bowled the first over and in the first two balls, Luke took a ripper of a catch at 1st slip. Later, in the fifth over, Eddie got two wickets, a catch from Cruz and a clean bowled. In the next over, Jesse bowled one of the openers out for twenty three. Then in the fifteenth over, Ethan bowled out a player for 9 runs. In the next over, Blake took a great diving catch in front of his body to get someone out for a two ball duck. The bottom order fell fast and we bowled Inner west out for 106 in 33rd over. Manly had won by 53 runs. Well done on Cruz getting a fifty and Eddie getting four wickets.
